Is the fact that we only speak English a problem, thinking in particular of the entertainment and excursions

we have so much fun with everyone - we speak english with maybe one/two words of italien - so just prepare yourself for a laugh at yourself and others trying to communcate - its part of the experience ( or get a phrase book) - enjoy!!

English is widely spoken everywhere just been on the Baltic Cruise and the only guide who had very minor problems was in St Petersburg but its Russia, I think its very difficult to learn English from Russian and vice versa, I could understand him in any case and he was a character!!! so well done him! All staff on the cruises are not British but most do speak excellent English.

MSC announce everything in about 6 languages, the game shows, bingo, you name it. The entertainment is circus, mime, acrobat type acts with little vocal performance.

Not on the cruise ship the bulk of passengers in European;Caribbean; West coast USA
cruises speak english. It is sad to say some of us with no other language do get away with murder.
