Just returned from an enjoyable 10 day Baltic cruise on Armonia. Had an inside cabin for 4, 2 ad+ 2 child under 10 which we felt was completely adequate for the amount of time spent there. Cabin kept spotless by cabin steward. Food- breakfast+ lunch time meals taken on deck which had a wide range of food to suit all. The children really enjoyed the pasta + pizza which were cooked in front of you. However after Bremerhaven stop lunch/ breakfast times could get very busy so for the last few days we ate in the restaurant which was far more civilised. Were given an evening meal 1st sitting of 6.15 which was due to the children but would have preferred it if it was 7 ish. Wide choice of food on menu each night with a separate childrens menu but would cook children anything they liked. Quality of food was good but we did hear of some people complaining. Entertainment was not very good for the first two nights but then got steadily better. The only complaint we had was that most shows only lasted for 30mins and it would take at least that long to find a waiter in the theatre! ( We started buying drinks in one of the bars and carrying them them in!) Overall good cruise but found drinks and trips very expensive+ found Italian+ German guests extremely RUDE+ got a bid fed up of all anouncements in 5 languages.
Quality of Food3
Ate during the day on deck but got a bit fed up of finding a table at lunch time after Bremerhaven stop
Entertainment2
Fantastic classical duo- violinist + pianist were brilliant even though we are not normally classical fans. Other shows were a bit hit + miss but did improve after the first few days. Shows not as good as other cruises as 4/5 langs on board so had to do mainly dancing acts
Shore Excursions2
Excursions very expensive so apart from St Petersberg where we needed agroup visa we did our own thing. Stop in Visby very pretty butonly 4 hrs there.
Staff3
Sat with a family whose child had a severe allergy each night and staff were excellent explaining what oils etc food had been cooked in.
Children's Facilities2
Children did not join in clubs + was quite happy with this as there was 4/5langs on board + not quite confident with level of English being spoken to leave them there. Good kiosk that had a selection of games to borrow.
Onboard Activities2
Activities -didn't join in any as even bingo had a number being called in 5 languages so no fun factor!
Cabins3
Inside for 4 with 2 pull down bunks good. Also had a minibar
Overall Rating3
