My wife and myself have just retuned from a cruise on the MSC Opera sailing from Triest to Italy Greece and Croatia
The good points about the cruise was how clean the ship and cabins where there was always someone cleaning or polishing Breakfast was good plenty of choice lunch was also good
The bad points started when we joined the ship in Triest MSC did not have a clue how to organise the multi national crowd of passengers trying to checkin, the biggest let down was the quality of food at dinner plenty of courses but not the quality I expected as I have sailed with other cruise lines and there quality was far superior (lobster steak etc) You also had to pay for water and coffee if you required them there was also times when you could not get food and breakfast room service menu was very limited We did enjoy our cruise but the dining experiance was not great
